Invitation for "Cleaning RamNadi" would have been more appropriate!
Plant a tree in Eva at Bavdhan? What about flooding of Ram Nadi? |
While buying a property in Bavdhan Budruk, you can't afford to ignore RamNadi and Mumbai Pune Expressway. You means the property buyer and the builder. Both.
So, instead of "inviting to plant a tree", i believe, Anshul Realties, developers of Eva at Bavdhan Budruk, should have invited for "cleaning RamNadi".
Not only those who want to book a 2 BHK / 2.5 BHK / 3 BHK Flat in Eva, but also those who are interested in other projects in Bavdhan Budruk and those who are already staying in Bavdhan Khurd, would have joined the "Clean RamNadi" initiative!
Initiative of "Cleaning RamNadi" would have proved that Anshul Realties (www.arpl.co.in) + Karan Group (www.karangroup.com) + Rutuja Group, joint venture partners in Eva Bavdhan, believe in "Working Together" with mother nature.
Initiative of "Cleaning RamNadi" would have been a step to prevent flooding of RamNadi and, for sure, would have motivated the property buyers to book in Anshul Eva which is on the bank of RamNadi.

ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteI, Nakul Nitin Gote, am a doctoral candidate at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. I have earned my bachelors in architecture (B.Arch.) from VNIT Nagpur and masters in urban and rural planning (M.U.R.P.) from IIT Roorkee. I am a Punekar residing in Dresden and my research will bring me to my hometown soon.
The working topic of my doctoral thesis is "Governing for Flood Resilience of Urban Stream Corridors". I have selected the Ramnadi and the Devnadi as cases for the same. I am very much interested in studying the developments that have taken place along these two water bodies over the past decade or so.
The case study approach for this research is based on collecting interviews of actors/stakeholders who have been involved in flood risk management before, during and after the event. Thus, I aim to talk to:
1) locals who have been affected by floods and/or who have participated in flood management efforts,
2) experts and activists who are well versed with the issues of the case studies and have lent direction to previous flood management efforts and
3) representatives of various governmental institutions.
As you have been blogging about and participating in the activities related to Ramnadi, I am very much interested in having your views of the current governance situation.
I am especially interested in studying the governance structure that exists for flood risk management in the Ramnadi and Devnadi corridors; the actors involved, the issues and the opportunities. The questions that I will ask in the interview will be open ended and the interview will be in the form of a dialogue. Your identity will be kept anonymous if you so wish.
I will be in Pune in July-September and would be pleased if we could arrange a meeting then. Of course, any guidance from you in the meantime will be deeply appreciated.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours sincerely
Gote, Nakul Nitin
