Management has realized that giving a break of an hour, in batches, is more productive than a day's leave without pay!

In fact, in the long run, workers living near the company, in an affordable township like Anandgram Talegaon Dhamdhere, will prove to be more productive asset for the company, the H R Managers have told their management and decided to consider the visit as official duty.

Mr. Patil gave me this inside information,(19th May 2011), on the eve of launch of Anandgram Talegaon Dhamdhere. He didn't want to come with his co-workers and book a flat without getting his dear wife's approval, Mr. Patil told me. So, on Thursday, his weekly off, he came down from Chandannagar, where he lives in a rented house in an old building, with Mrs. Patil and had a look at the sample flat of Anandgram Talegaon Dhandhere.

"Doesn't Mrs. Patil prefer to live in a developed area like Chandannagar than a township surrounded by sugar cane fields?," i asked.

"We are from a village in Marathwada. So, we are more comfortable here than in an area like Chandannagar and Vadgaon Sheri!," Mr. Patil said and added that, "In any case, how much we like - we can't & will not be able to own a home in Pune or even in Wagholi. All are out of our budget. Including, most of the projects in Sanaswadi and Shikrapur!,"

"How about buying a "guntha" (1,000 sq.ft. agricultural plot of land) and constructing a bungalow?"," i asked.

"First, it is now illegal - so out of question. And you know what? Gunthewari is more expensive than a 2 bhk flat in Anandgram! If i had to live a life like that - then what is the point in getting a job in a company? I was living like that in my native village!," Mr. Patil said.

"Flat is a flat - but why is there no terrace? Flat should have a terrace!," Mrs. Patil said.

"Terrace would have increased the price and would have been beyond our budget," Mr. Patil said and added that - look at the open space in Anandgram - you can go down and sit with other ladies! Isn't is better than only looking at each other from the terrace?"

"Now, do you understand why i am here today? I didn't want her to complain about anything after i book tomorrow with my group of friends!," Mr. Patil said.

"Yes sir! Mr. Patil, you are smart person and a caring husband!," I said and requested him for a photograph.

Obviously, i asked Sachin Kulkarni, my dear friend and M. D. of Vastushodh Projects, Promoters of Anandgram Talegaon Dhamdhere and Anandgram Yavat about "Anandgram week".

"People are visiting the site from the day they read the news about the launch of Anandgram Talegaon Dhamdhere in all newspapers, Sachin said and added that, "I will not wonder if the management decides to let the people visit the site to book a flat! And i will not wonder if all flats are booked by tomorrow evening!"

"Even i will not be surprised - this is not the first time - it happed in Urbangram where 2 BHK Flat was for 20 lakhs!," i said.

    I have always wondered how vastushodh is able to luanch and complete the project at such low rates .......... As you are good friend of the director Mr Kulkarni... would you be able to tell me how are they managing this......This question I am asking is out of appreciation for Mr. Kulkarni.

    I would really like to visit one of the ongoing project of Vastushodh and see how do they function .........?
    As it will be great learning..
