Who buys Gokhale Constructions 2 crore flats?

An evening at Gokhale Constructions' Navratrotsav 2016:

After spending a day talking with 'confused' Hinjewadi IT engineers about booking flats in Vilas Javdekar Developers' upcoming project Yashwin Hinjawadi, I visited Gokhale Constructions Navratrotsav 2016.

Hoping to see some unconfused & well composed adults seriously considering booking 1.4 crore 2 BHK & 2 crore plus 3 BHK Flats in Erandwane, Karvenagar, Rambaug - Mayur - Dahanukar Colony in Kothrud.

And you know what? I actually saw many!

Not only I saw the flat buyers taking possession & expressing satisfaction but I was honored to handover the flat booking receipt to a couple!

"It was my dream to own a Gokhale Constructions' flat!," after accepting the booking receipt the guy said.

I looked at him closely. If I had seen him at the corner paan shop, I would not have thought that he owns a 2 crore flat. Then I looked at his wife. She looked like any working housewife - inspecting every tomato while whispering in her iPhone - I come across in a vegetable shop.

In the parking of Gokhale House, around 8pm, there were many serious middle aged couples like this!

"You know? I open booking of only those projects which have received necessary sanctions & approvals!," Mr. Vishal Gokhale told me.

"Really!?," I said.

"If someone insists - I tell him - Give me your contact details - I will let you know when I open booking," Mr. Gokhale said.

Yes, I know how anxious people are to own a home in Gokhale Constructions project. I have one wife at my home in Kothrud.

  2. i had read your blog on Gokhale constructions' Waves project in Wakad, today i visited the project. Initially the project was P + 9 floors as mentioned in brochure, now they are adding 2 more floors when work up to 7th slab is already completed considering dead weight and other factors for a 9 floor building! they've used normal clay bricks for brick work till 3rd floor and now from 4th floor they are using fly Ash bricks as an adjustment to reduce dead weight. further to this, floor plans are sanctioned till 6th floor only, plans from 7th floor onward are not yet sanctioned and they are selling flats till 9th floor.

      This is like saying Lalwa Yadav is most honest politician ! Shameless crooks.
      And this fly ash is very important aspect which you have highlighted. I too have seen the same, 1-3 floors in red bricks, above that siphorex type light weight bricks which can be lifted by 2-3 fingers !

      And from what you have mentioned, just shows why not to buy under-construction flat.

    2. Every real estate client should take a oath.. never to book a flat if its not sanctioned! Thats it!I dont know whether we buy a vehicle which is not registered or havent got clearance from rto, then why we book flat? We buy every eatable product with checking fda approval & expiry date,we got to doctor with his mbbs degree displayed in clinic but the costliest product ie a home we buy in pre launch & without checking sanction; we take possession without occupation certificate!

    - So what's the great deal about it ? This has to be done, selling without approval is illegal. These builders have become so big crooks that if they launch some project after approval, they feel they are doing something extra ordinary.
    This is like saying that if the robber looted 9 people instead of 10, he is good robber, LoL.
