Pune Municipal Corporation finally announces a partial rollback of the water cut from 40% to 20%

Good rain results in partial rollback immediately:

With good rain in the last few days, there have been constant demands from citizens to roll back the cut. The civic body could have provided the relief 10 days ago when the Khadakvasla reservoir filled to capacity and the water resources department allowed the civic body to lift the 1,000 cusecs water released in the canal in addition to that provided through the closed pipeline.
