The suggestions have to reach the MCCIA by December 24.
A statement issued by the MCCIA here on Saturday said that as was the usual practice, the Railway, Road Traffic Management Committee of MCCIA will be submitting a pre-budget memorandum to the railway minister for Railway Budget 2010-11 which will be presented in Parliament in February 2010.
MCCIA has appealed to citizens and all concerned to send their suggestions and expectations from the Indian Railways with respect to starting new trains, change in timings of the existing trains, Pune station and Shivajinagar station premises, connectivity issues, safety, security, cleanliness, catering services and any other issue that may bring about improvement in the services.
Citizens can send their input, in writing, addressed to MCCIA or mail it to Parag Kulkarni at firstname.lastname@example.org or Chandrashekhar Pathak at email@example.com on or before December 24.
