Encroachments at Ramnadi pulled down

Ramnadi, August 7, 2007:
Following disclosure by district collector Prabhakar Desmukh of prominent developers encroaching Ramnadi, builders and housing societies in Bavdhan and Baner themselves pulled down compound walls and cleared the debris from the river on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC),
Kumar builders pulled down a compound wall and removed the rubble from Ramnadi
and Tejas builders pulled down temporary structures on an 80-metre area.
In Baner, the La-chappel co-op housing society pulled down a 25-metre wall,
Ujwal co-op society razed a 20-metre wall
and Hotel Mahabaleshwar on Baner road demolished 25 metres of a 90-metre compound wall.Encroachments at Ramnadi pulled down-Pune-Cities-The Times of India
