There is a huge potential in the hospitality space. India today is experiencing a 20-25% growth in tourism and a 14% growth in international arrivals

According to a survey done by HVS International, there are 155 hotels which are under active development in various cities which will help bridge this huge gap of rooms. The hospitality sector has gained prominence owing to high performance of existing hotels, existing demand-supply gaps in rooms as well as the requirements for major events such as the Commonwealth Games 2010

This has made real estate developers to enter this vertical. In fact, with the boom in this sector, the hotel industry is witnessing hectic action, even though there will be few available quality sites for these kind of projects.
