Recently when i was in Chakan MIDC, one hoarding caught my attention. The hoarding said "Spacious 1 BHK Flat for Rs. 11 Lakhs!" I called the number 91 9225 567 567 and visited the site of "Chintamani Heights". 4 story, single stand alone building in the heart of Nanekarwadi. The one room site office of "Chintamani Heights" was as attractive as the slogan on the hoarding. It had a fresh paint, a small lawn and a tiny pond!

"Welcome to Chintamani Heights, luxurious project of 45 spacious 1 BHK Flats - only for Rs. 11 Lakhs - at the strategic location in Nanekarwadi Chakan!," Mr. Vishal (91 9225 567 567) of Pune Vastu, said.

"Strategic location? How come?," I asked him.

"Look at this road, as per the D P plan, this road will go to Bosch & Mercedes! And this one goes to Mahindra & Mahindra's Chakan Plant! Live in the heart of Nanekarwadi and walk to work!," Vishal said.

"Walk to work! Do workers walk to work? Because IT professionals in Hinjewadi wear sports shoes but never walk!," i said.

"Workers in MIDC walk to work! Even now. Though there is no proper road at this point of time. You know? Some even walk without shoes! But not anymore!," Vishal said.

"Why not anymore?," i asked.

"Your job gives you money. But your home gives you Lifestyle! And Status! At Chintamani Heights it's possible in only Rs. 11 lakhs! Come on, have a look at my project!," Vishal said and took me to the site. The construction of Chintamani Heights has already begun.

On the ground floor Chintamani Heights has shops. But booking of shops is not open, Vishal said.

Looking at the RCC structure, i realized that Chintamani Heights would become 'a landmark' in Nanekarwadi! 4 story Chintamani Heights has 3 wings. Each wing has a lift. And, of course, a staircase. The first and third wing has 6 flats on each floor. Second wing has 4 flats on each floor. All 1 BHK Flats.

Carpet area of these 1 BHK Flats in Chintamani Heights varies a little. But is approximately 520 sq.ft. Some flats have terraces. Some have balconies.

Room sizes in Chintamani Heights are really 'spacious' - for example living is 10 feet 10 inches x 14 feet 2 inches + Terrace / 11 feet x 15 feet + Terrace / 11 feet 3 inches x 16 feet 8 inches + Balcony! You know? Kitchen is 10 feet 8 inches x 8 feet 6 inches or even 12 feet 8 inches x 8 feet 6 inches! Some flats have 12 feet 8 inches x 9 feet 6 inches bedroom but most are 10 feet x 9 feet 6 inches! W C and Bath is, of course, separate!
