I visited Gulmohar County (www.gulmoharcounty.com) on Sunday, 26th December 2010. On the next-day it was launched. I liked the location. Gulmohar County is in Talegaon City. Behind Talegaon Telephone Exchange. Near Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya.

Not on the Old Mumbai Pune Highway (N H 4) like Naiknavare Developers' Lakeshore. Or like Leela Greens. Launched on the same day.

Palika Road, on which Gulmohar County is located, is one of the best roads in Talegaon. And important road too. At one end of the road there is Talegaon Railway Station and Jijamata Chowk on the other. At Gulmohar County, one can truly enjoy Talegaon, i thought.

I visited the sample flat. It was very well done. Flat was small. The plan was good. Presentation had a sophistication. The marketing and advertising was sharp and result oriented. Price was within reach. For the executive working in industry. Particularly for my readers in General Motors at Talegaon.

I was almost convinced that 1 BHK & 2 BHK Flat in Gulmohar County would be a good home and investment. But to motivate me, the salesman made one statement which put me off. He talked about the huge response at the launch. The launch offer which was for only first 25 flats would end at any minute, he said. If i want to take the benefit and save Rs. 100 per sq.ft., he insisted, i should give him a cheque for a booking right now!

"Would you be here tomorrow morning?" I asked.

"I am at Gulmohar County only for the 2 day launch event, tomorrow, I will go back to my site in PCMC," he said.

"I thought so! You are too smart and dynamic for Talegaon Dabhade!," I said and took his leave.

In the last 2 weeks, i called Gulmohar County (www.gulmoharcounty.com/contact) many times. Just to confirm about the launch offer. It's still on. Like any Talegaon project, launched in the last 3 - 4 months. Good! Isn't it?
