Le Meridian!! that is a costly place. I am afraid to go there as prices will be according to the surroundings (Posh and high). Good luck to the organizers of this property fair. I request all like minded buyers who are waiting for prices to correct, not to visit this property fair and teach builder lobby of pune a lesson. BOYCOTT this PLEASE.

ReplyDeleteThen there were one in Balewadi, one on COEP ground, just a week back.
Again, we have antoher exhibition.
It does not take much intelligenece to know why SO MANY exhibitions, one after the another. There are no deals happening so attempts are continues via exhibitions.
Builders have to accept that people will not buy at current prices. No point in countless exhibitions. It will only add misery to themselves.
Cut the greed and redue the rates to affordable range and market is open thereon.

ReplyDeleteI think property exhibition are only organised to create the panic among the buyers...
Builder will increase rates by 100-105 rs and in justification they will try to show you that market is up now and lot many booking are going on...
There is no use of such exhibitions now buyers are very much aware of the builder’s mentality...
We can go and check for nay new property there but believe me don’t get panic after seeing he increase in the rate…. They are just playing with you…

Oh my God! What can i say? You have said it all!! Don't gate panicked after seeing the increased property rates.
Because property rates are always negotiable.
Seller will always try to sale at the maximum rate.
Buyer will try to purchase at the minimum rate.
There is no reason to get panicked. No reason to get angry about.
You, always, have the final say!
When i sold 100 row houses and twin bungalows in a year 2,900 property buyers said "no" to me. I am sure both of us, me and they who said no, don't have any complaint about it.

ReplyDeleteAfter visiting 2 exhibitions, PBAP and HDFC, and DSK Vasantotsav, couple of project launch and number of site visits in April and May, i was under the impression that "Boycott is over"!

ReplyDeleteYou are right. There are few buyers who can afford to buy at the current property rates.
Real estate boom is over. Now, builders have to take extra efforts to sell the flats. Newspaper advertising is expensive. You can see "empty" hoardings all over Pune. Exhibitions are cost effective for the builders and the property buyers.
For the property buyers also there is some point in visiting the exhibition.
At least, he finds out that there is no point in buying at this point of time. Good point. Isn't it?

Yes, this is a free market. I am personally not going to go to any exhibitions any more. I am positive that many people in Pune will think like me in coming days.
We all want to buy a home, that is the reason we come to this site and read what is going on. But at the same time, I am getting a feeling that it is going to take bit longer. If we compare the real estate prices with other cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, even Chennai -- the prices at Pune is very high. I still don't get it.
