Dear Raju of Hinjewadi, Is job uncertainty and no raise in salary forcing you to opt for smaller flat?

Worry not! Pune builders are there to full fill your wish!!

Thanks Mr. Rohit Gera! Because of you Pune property buyers are not going to miss past president of PBAP, Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain!!

Read this statement and vote Mr. Rohit Gera for the next "President of Credai Pune"

"More and more people are preferring smaller flats now.

It is happening because of two reasons.

First, the affordability is being impacted because of recession.

Second, the segment that was buying larger flats came from the IT sector. Now, since there is uncertainty in this industry and salaries are not rising as fast they would earlier, this segment is preferring compact homes.

Developers were just responding to this shift in demand from larger homes to smaller ones.

The trend has emerged in the last two or three months.

The market had anyway come to a standstill before that.

Hence, the plans are being revised," said Rohit Gera, vice-president of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), Pune. To read more, please, visit - Builders seek to resize housing plans

Pune property buyers don't want reduced property rates but reduced size of the flat!

In the comments on my Ravi Karandeekar's Pune Real Estate Market News Blog, you demand for property price reduction but, my dear friend, Raju Of Hinjewadi, you go and request M/s Rohit Gera and Co to reduce the size of the flat. Raju, you tell builders your sad story and cry for help!

My heart is not as big as Pune builders who are taking trouble to make their flats smaller for you. However, i am considerate. Dear Raju Of Hinjeawadi, I respect your wish to pay high property rates for smaller flat. After all, standard of life and happiness doesn't depend upon the size of your living room or bedroom.

Mr. Rohit Gera, thanks for being so kind to Pune property buyers. After Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain, you are the savior of Pune real estate market and my blog! You should become the next President of Credai Pune.

  1. Ravi,
Thanks for sharing concerns by PBAP on restructuring plans for small units or so called budget homes. It shows how eagerly they wants to know from Rajus of Hinjewadi. why only Raju when you sometime back said..Pune market is not just all about IT people. Though I have many things to share but no comments. They will face consequences of this as well. Poor gera..he didn't understood what real issues are. Instead of posting his reduced (i doubt) rates , he is advertising EMIs as if buyrs can't do that simple match..can't stop laughing :)

  4. Pune buyers want not reduced prices but reduced areas!LoL. Perhaps PBAP (Credai Pune) want reduced life of realty in Pune. Unfortunately, for PBAP brains can't be leased, hence such self-shooting statements. I really pity these builders. What they forget is the huge glut of empty housing in the city. Perhaps, PBAP is still using 2005 calender!

  5. All the media, builders, politicians are linked. Thats why they are coming with the news like Market is booming etc!
Please dont go for this high rate properties by taking huge loans.
As you can see, the rates are not at all reduced.

  6. Gera's might be ruling the PBAPs and CREDAI or whatever... but they need to do some serious retrospection in terms of what they are delivering! Gera greens ville has turned out to be in a big mess, residents are unhappy and they soon going to sue gera's for failing on commitments, delay in possession, bad maintenance and what not!!
