The recession syndrome has gripped the sub registrar offices, which are barometers of the real estate industry.
In the last four months, sale deeds of flats have nose-dived by 6,164 while total registration has gone down by 15,424 in the city and Pimpri-Chinchwad area.Interestingly, leave and licence agreements are on the rise as people prefer to take houses on rent instead of risking fresh loans.
