Moving Towards Green Design 09'a two-day seminar on green designaims at making architects, developers, builders, consultant and service providers aware and responsible when it comes to concept of green design and sustainable use of energy and other resources.The seminar will be held at Suzlon One Earth building, the global headquarters of Suzon group in Hadapsar, on December 18 and 19.
The event has been organised by the Architects, Engineers and Surveyors Association (AESA) and Dr B N College of Architecture in association with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Synefra Engineering and Construction Ltd.
Green economics, efficient site resources management for green projects, building energy simulation, decoding energy efficiency of HVAC design, building rating systems in India like Pune's Eco Housing, IGBC Green Factories Rating Systems and Teri Griha, and showcasing of green building experiences by prominent architects and developers, water management, harnessing renewable wind energy, and design and sustainability will be topics for discussing and deliberation at the seminar.
Madhav Gadgil, ecology and biodiversity expert, Christopher Charles Benninger, architect, Rajendra Jagadale of Science and Technology Park, Pune, Satish Magar of Magarpatta City and other experts will be the resource persons.
