CBRE Pune Prop Fair - Tame the blame & shame for not booking a flat

Why should you visit CBRE Prop Fair with your spouse & in laws?:

CBRE Pune Prop Fair - Tame the blame & shame for not booking a flat

How did you manage to put such a big show? For a while even leading newspapers in Pune couldn't convince so many builders to participate in their property exhibitions. How did you do this? I asked a representative of CBRE.

We convinced the builders that you don't have an option but to overcome the negative market sentiments. A CBRE representative told me.

What a wonderful job CBRE has done! While teaching the builders to overcome the negative market sentiments - CBRE has created an opportunity for the wise young people in Pune who do not want to book a flat at this point of time in their life! I told myself & called one of my readers.

"Hello Mehul! I am Ravi Karandeekar. I want to share some valuable information. Are you free to talk for 3 minutes?," I asked.

"Free! Yes, of course!! I am all ears even if I have to pay for it!!!," said Mehul.

"Mehul, I just visited CBRE Prop Fair at Deccan College Grounds. Are you planning to visit it?," I asked.

"No, Ravi. You know? After our last conversation, I have successfully convinced my wife that for the next 4 years - we will not talk about property," said Mehul.

"That's a great achievement, Mehul! Congratulations!! Has this resolution - in any way - improved your married life?," I asked.

"Improved? No. Deteriorated. Rationally she has understood & accepted. But emotionally she can't bare the idea of not owning a home for the next 4 years. She can deal with her colleagues - but when her mother calls - she loses emotional balance - and stops talking to me for days," Mehul said.

"So sorry to hear that....How do you deal with it, Mehul?," I asked.

"Till she starts talking to me - I feel ashamed of myself. I keep on blaming myself. I feel I am an inadequate person. Is this going to end in divorce? I keep on worrying," Mehul said.

"But she starts talking..... Right?," I asked.

"Yes! But she blames me!! It was not she - but it was me - who stopped talking - she claims. Which is not true - still - every time - I had to accept it - you know - my life has become an emotional roller coaster - sometimes even I feel that booking a flat is the only way to smoothen our life," Mehul said.

"There is an opportunity....CBRE Prop Fair is an opportunity to smoothen your life....Do visit it....with your mother in law.....All of you together.... Experience what you have rationally realized and accepted.....Buying a flat - at this point of time in your life - means - living poor quality life - Buying a flat - at this point of time in your life - means - putting your financial future in danger - Most of the projects presented in this exhibition will convince you that - your decision of not booking a flat at Wagholi or Lohegaon is absolutely right - Your decision to rent a flat in Viman Nagar - was & is - the right decision - You are enjoying better quality of life - Most important - you are saving good amount of money to buy a flat in an area where basic urban infrastructure would be available - One visit to this exhibition will help you to overcome the blame & shame for not booking a flat," I said.

What say you?

The best way to convince you - why it is not worth buying a flat - is to visit Pune property exhibition. Isn't it?

    - LoL. Nothing like that. Problem is the desire to buy everything right now, no matter what & this leads to depression. If people learn patience, things can move far more smoothly.
Btw, what if somebody's wife wants a Bentley ? Her husband is useless, can't even afford a 2.5 Cr car !

"Your decision to rent a flat in Viman Nagar - was & is - the right decision - You are enjoying better quality of life - Most important - you are saving good amount of money to buy a flat in an area where basic urban infrastructure would be available ."

    - Summed it up perfectly.

    Ravi,
It seems the exhibition got overwhelming response, just the way all builders' construction is in full swing !!
Btw, couldn't believe that cheapo builders like KUL, Paranjape, Goel Ganga participated in this exhibition. These builders will put even politicians to shame when it comes to shamelessness !

Came across a nice link. Do read, it will show in how pre-historic times Pune builders are when it comes to project & what Pune flat buyers are missing in their lives especially for the price which they pay for flat.
Rather than paying big EMI, it's better to travel, not only you are exposed to new things but even the thought process looking towards same thing changes for the better.

  2. Builder funda:

1)Entitle project with some xyz Italian, European name & jack up rates by 30%. Coz whatever Indian is cheap & low cast.
2)Jack up rates & offer washing machine, oven, holidays pkg, car, bike etc
3)Rename village area as new abc Annex such as Hadapsar Annex, Kothrud Annex or next Pimpri chinchwad as marketing pitch. It may be next thing but in how many years?
4)English speaking girls picked up from colleges for campaigning with chocolates, coffee, bislery & explaining European titled projects as if some serious business deal is on.
5)Can't stop laughing as santa bantas wearing blazers in 35+ temp underneath fans.
