Is this the right time to book a flat?

Betting a.k.a. Booking:

Gambling is in our blood. Gambling is our culture. Gambling is our way of life.
We bet on IPL, horses, lottery tickets, cards.
Even, we bet on homes.
Not only those so called 'real estate investors' but,
even 'home buyers' too prefer betting on property.

Instead of taking an informed decision about buying a 'ready for possession' home,
the home buyers believe that, for the prosperous future,
you have to bet your money on property and 'book a flat' at pre-launch - launch - under construction stage.

By advertising how trustworthy they are, the builders in Pune encourage the home buyers to stake their lives.
By promoting certain areas as future destinations, local newspapers pretend to guide the home buyers about safe betting.
To fund this gambling empire, the housing finance companies bet on the future incomes of home buyers.
And to earn more revenue from betting on property, the state and union governments pass the real estate bill.

Every home buyer in Pune knows that - 'Timing' - is one of the few property gambling mantras.
So, every home buyer is desperate to know the right time to book a flat.

"Ravi Karandeekar, is - now - the right time - to invest in Pune?," is the most popular question.

"No. Now - is not the right time," my standard answer.

"No time is the right time - for booking a flat! In fact, 'booking' is not a right way to buy a flat," I announce after a small gap.

"What would be - when will it be the right time?," ignoring my statement about right time & way to buy a flat, you ask.

"Right time is - when Pethkar Projects receives an environmental clearance for their Punawale project!," for a while, after attending the Bhoomi Poojan, I say so to support my statement that - now, is not the right time to book a flat in Pune.

And, you know what?
Those who know Pethkar Projects' Samrajya completely agree with me!

    1. On what grounds are you saying this? if Punavale is going to be 8000 psft, what would be Wakad, Aundh, Pimple area, Baner, and what would be Prabhat Road and Koregao Park :O

    2. I am extrapolating really. Prabhat road and Koregaon park are already ~ 12k. This is what I have seen in Pune, prices keep rising w.r.t. to better areas. I mean Kothrud will touch 12000 and Prabhat road will touch 1500. Then other areas will start climbing towards the peak. Correct me if I am wrong
