Bridge connecting Pimpri-gaon with Tapkirnagar in Kalewadi opens 5 years after its completion

The bridge on the river Pavana in Pimpri, which was lying unused for the past five years, has finally been opened to vehicular traffic.

The construction work was completed by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in October 2004.

However, due to the lack of approach road at one end of the bridge had rendered the structure useless for all these years.
