As per the full page ad in today's Sakal, "nano homes", joint venture of Kohinoor Group and Rama Group, will have 364, "smartly" planned 1 bhk and 2 bhk terrace flats.

Sample flat is ready.

Ad has the floor plans but without saleable or carpet areas! Even a casual look at the floor plan tells you that terrace size is too big and the carpet area must be too less! When i called the number given in the ad, very reluctantly, he gave me the saleable areas:
551 sq.ft. and 564 sq.ft. of 1 bhk terrace flat
695 sq.ft. and 807 sq.ft. of 2bhk terrace flat
very "smartly planned"!
To know the carpet areas, you have to visit the site!

nano homes bank on driving time!

Besides convenient location - 10 minutes from Hinjewadi IT park, 4 minutes from Dange Chowk and 3 minutes from Akurdi railway station, contemporary facilities and unbelievably affordable property price, the ad insists on, an already commenced, a four lane road J.N.N.U.R.M. project. Because of this road from Pune station, you can reach Ravet in a span of just 12 minutes!

Location:

Sr. No. 208, near D.Y. Patil College Akurdi, opp Ravet Bridge, Ravet, Pune 412 101.

  1. pune station to ravet in 12 mins, this is a big joke.. I think Ravi you need to write realistic.. I frequent this route daily and it takes no less than 30 mins.. i request you to not misguide readers, as this will severely affect your credibility as a blogger.

  2. If you visit the location plan on the website of the project, builder says - Distance from Pune University Circle - 20 minutes!

  3. I agree with Sujit, after reading this blog post of yours, I also got the same impression. May be you should explicitly mention that its the builder's claim.

  4. What Nano Homes. The apartments in this project are planned like a train compartment. There is kitchen where there is no privacy. There is a big sliding glass window bang opposite the cooking area. There is no storage space incorporated in the kitchen. The rooms don't have any feel of permanency. The accessories fitted are substandard. There is a toilet right in the kitchen area. This seems like a playhouse. It is like a railway compartment . The rooms are in a straight line. The builder has incorporated everything to save money and get maximum profits in the name of a modern concept. I wonder from which College of Architecture did his designers pass out. The electrical fittings are located at inconvenient locations. The bedroom has a feel of a cell once u close the balcony doors. Unless u want to shell out a substancial amount in remodifying the rooms I would suggest anybody to give it a pass. The apartments in these buildings does't have the feel of a home. Buying it may seem cheap but ultimately u will spend a packet to make it livable. There is absolutely no space available for storage facilities. The builder in the name of modernity is passing u a dud....
