Pune in the driver’s seat with India shining as global hub for small cars

If Pune has caught the attention of global automotive players, with its claim to be the wannabe Detroit of India, it’s not without reason. The cauldron is fairly boiling over with the Rs 1-lakh car nearing completion at the Tata Motors stable, General Motors readying its new plant as is Volkswagon, both in the Talegaon vicinity.
